The Crazy Penguin

People have been asking me for a while for an actual picture of the Crazy Penguin which features in many of my short stories, and although I hope my descriptions are good enough for you to imagine what he looks like, it’s not the same as an image! So I made an edit of a normal penguin today to make him crazy-penguin-ish, following the descriptions in my stories.

Pink Dominates The Dock

As promised, the decorations at the Dock have changed- but I definately preferred them as they were before! They look like a larger version of the ones at the Beach, covered in pink! Ahhhhh!!!!!! Thankfully, they didn’t change the backstage to match, and I think that every different theme across the island will have it’s turn at the Dock, so just wait for your favourite one to come round- then you can PARTY DOWN! Anyway here’s a picture:

When you stand on the stage the music starts up and the lights start flashing. Not a great colour, but still a great party! I wonder what’ll arrive at the Dock next?

Music Jam ’08 & New Game

The long anticipated Music Jam ’08 is here at last- and let me tell you- it’s even better than we expected! Nearly every room is filled with awesome music decorations and surprises, and, aside from the two free items, which I’ll say about soon, there are clothes to buy, including the return of the mighty orchestra instruments! Anyway, the free items!

Two pretty awesome additions to any costume, member or non-member! There are two other mini-catalogues- one’s at the Snow Forts, for souvenirs and the other is at the Dock, behind the VIP door.

If you don’t buy a backstage pass, you won’t be able to access the secret ‘backstage’ party room at the Dock:

Go to the area in the red circle on the picture above to open up the Music Catalogue:

There is one secret item in teh Music Catalogue, the Red Electric Guitar. Click on the dot of the ‘i’ in ‘Music.’

The decorations at the Dock are meant to change every day, according to the paper- does this mean that the Backstage room will change every day also? Just in case, I would say that you shouldn’t dilly-dally with getting those rare musical items!

Every room in the party is worth a look- a vehicle has smashed itself through the wall in the Pizza Parlour; there’s an Icicle Instrument in the Mine and the Club Penguin Band are playing at the Iceberg. But the best thing about the party is… the new game! It’s called DJ3K, and if you enjoy mixing tunes, as I do, it is certainly the game for you. It isn’t that well paid, and I think you get paid for how long you play. You have to walk up to the headphones at the DJ table to play. They’re quite hard to see in the dark, but they’re on the left hand side of the equipment. Here’s what the game looks like:

Your penguin goes through four different stages that tell you how well you’re doing.
1. Still. Before you have a riff (a repeated pattern) or before you have any music at all.

2. Head nodding. One-two riffs (not including buttons 3,4,5 or 6).

3. Little jig. Button number 6 on it’s own, two riffs including buttons 3,4 or 5. Three riffs not already specified.

4. Top of the set! Moshing and cheering. Two riffs inc. button no. 6, 4 riffs including 3,4 or 5, or 5+ riffs not already specified.

I hope this guide to teh new game is useful to you- believe me- it took a lot more time to write, research and get pictures for this guide than it probably took you to read it! Enjoy the party!

New Newspaper + Game Update (Inc. Sneak Peek)

It’s Thursday again, as it is every week, and that means another new newspaper! It is issue #145 this week, which means there’s only 5 weeks until issue #150- which will probably be a special edition! Anyway, today’s top story is ‘It’s Time To Rock,’ which is a three page long taster of tomorrows big music festival, complete with event list, ‘rules’ of the party and ‘Meet The Band.’



This week’s ‘In Focus’ is about all the different vehicles in Club Penguin:


This week’s Aunt Arctic questions are ‘Try Spy’ which is about becoming a spy and ‘Lone Lee’ which is about puffles running away! As usual there are the posts written by one of us, the usual jokes, riddles and poems etc. This week’s puzzle is a Puzzle Shuffle. At the end of the paper there is a brief article about Aqua Grabber:

This ties in perfectly with what the mods said recently about a new level on an existing game. They gave us this sneak peek:

I don’t know about you, but I think that looks liek a sea monster- could there be a sea monster being added to Aqua Grabber?

New (Animated) Header

My old header was getting kinda boring, as I’m sure you’ll agree! Nothing but my penguin’s eyes staring at you from the top of the screen- it was, in short, dull! I’ve tried before to get an animated header to work, but this is the first time it’s actually been a success! Igloo Selection Update

Looks like the mods realised their new members’ igloo selection wasn’t as good as the old, for they’ve now combined the two to make one ULTIMATE members’ igloo selection screen- the only way they could make it better is to add the different shapes and sizes of igloo into the display (Eg. castles and snowglobes). Anyway, here’s what the new display looks like:

New Music Game On Club Penguin!

Have you spotted the construction in the Night Club yet? Are you flippers shaking with excitement over the new game? Mine sure are! Even more so now that the mods have released more information! It seems to me it will be some sort of mix studio, a bit like ‘Beat 2000’ if you’ve ever used that- where you build up tunes using different sounds, such as drums, guitar, etc. Here’s a sneak peek:

I can’t wait! It’s going to be AWESOME- meybe even the best game CP has ever had- at least to us music-lovers, anyway! It will be released at the party on Friday, but is permanent, and will stay after the party!

In other news, my Summer Holidays have started at last! So that means 6 weeks holiday! Whooooooo!!!!!!!! I’ll try not to post more than three times a day 😀 ! I might work on a few pages, add a few more and maybe make a new header!

Ninjas?

A few days ago, my friend The Source00 spotted some mysterious black penguins, walking on the walls of the Dojo and HQ. Are these ninjas? Lets look at the pictures:

Technically, I suppose they are ninjas; seeing as what we think of as a ninja is a black penguin who can walk on walls, right? However, real Club Penguin ninjas don’t exist- they are merely hacks. How anyone could be bothered to waste their time tricking a few kids into thinking Club Penguin ninjas are real, I don’t know- but it is definately not moderator-organised.

CPIP Overview Slideshow

CPIP sure has been fun these last few months- but it’s finally time to say goodbye- at least for the time being! I made a ‘goodbye’ slideshow for CPIP. It reflects all the best parts of CPIP:
