The Crazy Penguin

People have been asking me for a while for an actual picture of the Crazy Penguin which features in many of my short stories, and although I hope my descriptions are good enough for you to imagine what he looks like, it’s not the same as an image! So I made an edit of a normal penguin today to make him crazy-penguin-ish, following the descriptions in my stories.

You can work out what the brown stuff is… Lol! Joking it’s only mud! Look out for the Crazy Penguin in my short stories, a full list can be found on my sidebar.

Club Penguin- Elite Penguin Force!

No, I am not starting a Club Penguin army- Elite Penguin Force is the name of the NEW NINTENDO DS VERSION OF CP! It will be released in the ‘holiday season,’ which basically is advent and Christmas. In Elite Penguin Force, you’ll be able to go on adventures even secret agents don’t get to go on, and gather coins for your penguin via Wi-fi connection from playing mini-games! Here’s a picture of the front:

Cool! Especially for you Nintendo DS owners who have Wi-fi connections! Maybe not so cool for you Nintendo Ds owners who don’t, and even less cool for people who don’t have a DS at all (like me lol (I have a Wii and a Playstation 2)).

Bodge Is Back

My penguin’s been unbanned and, as far as I can see, there is no harm done- I’m still a secret agent, still a member… Everything- apart from my clean no-bans record! Also I found out about a fairly new feature called autoban: if you say a bad word you’re instantly banned by the filter- instead of people having to report you!

Doom Penguin

Have you been in the Town on Tundra lately? If you have, you’ll have noticed some REALLY WEIRD happenings going on! Some sort of strange robot penguin keeps walking backwards and forwards, uttering the same message of doom, going to and from the same place every time! This odd robot speaks of the end of Club Penguin, his exact words are: “CP is closing… forever.” The penguin’s name is Yeshello and it is probably some hacker programming the penguin to do the same thing over and over again. Here is a picture:

While I don’t quite know the origin of this penguin, I know that what it speaks of is false: Club Penguin isn’t closing- at least not for a while: they’ve done too many updates recently to be preparing to close! The moderators will probably find out and get rid of the penguin: so if you want to see for yourself, you’d better do it fast!

Penguin Mail Update Update

Quite a while back, Billybob posted about an update to the Penguin Mail system. More recently, but still a while back, Billybob posted more about it! Here is his post:

Hello Penguins!

I hope all of you who received the CPIP Server Test thank you item are enjoying it! There’s been a lot of talk recently about the release of the new features and I want to give you an update on all of them, but to make it easier, we’re going to focus on one per post. 

First–and the feature I’m most excited about–is Penguin Mail. A couple of weeks ago I talked briefly about an update to the postcard system. If you missed that post, you can check it out in the archives of this blog. 

The team has been working really hard on this feature.

Here’s the logo they’re playing with. 

It will also be way easier because you be able to send buddies a postcard even if they are not logged in, and you’ll also be able to delete and SAVE your mail.

As always, we would love to know what you think.  So keep up the feedback–it helps a lot!

I’ll have more info on Penguin Mail, the new player card and login next week.

What up?

Well, this is just a random post! I’ll have arrived in Wales by now and I hope I’m having a good time! I also hope you’re all be having a good day/week off (at least in Britain it’s a Bank Holiday & Half-term- I don’t know about other parts of the world!). On Holiday

Well, I’m on my way to Wales! This is a short post, because I’m timering it and I have a lot to do! I’m not putting anyone else as admin, so all the news will be posted on Saturday (when I get back) or Sunday. I’m not going to post much for the six days I’m away simply because I can’t predict the future- so I don’t know what’s going on, and because it’s a camping holiday there will be NO Internet Cafes. New Feature Coming Soon- New Log In & Server Selection

The mods have announced another of the new features- a new log in and server selection (I know- quite a mouthful)! Here’s their post about it, from the CPIP blog:

Hello Penguins!

Meeting up with buddies in Club Penguin is really important–I know because it’s something a lot of you say is difficult right now. In fact, it has been on of the top things suggested for improvement from many players! Your feedback on this issue has been a huge help. The team knew right away that one of the first improvements they wanted to work on was to make it easier to find your buddies when logging into Club Penguin.

Some of you had great ideas about making the login function better–a popular one was grouping worlds based on those you visit most often!

That’s part of what the team is working on right now. They are totally rebuilding the way you login to Club Penguin! The new login feature will make it a lot easier to locate your friends online–and the worlds will be grouped in a way that will help you stick with the buddies you play with most often.

The feature is still being worked on and as always, any suggestions or ideas you have will help make Club Penguin even better! So let us know what you think!
