Me and The Source have conferred (although he wasn’t there long so he didn’t see all the entries) and have both nominated the costumes we thought were the best. Here are the results:

Kimi’s Korner Re-Opening Soon

Kimi’s Korner, me and Kimi 07’s fabulous resteraunt, will be re-opening next Tuesday (Tuesday 15th April)! In ase you didn’t already know, the Korner has been closed for the past season due to maintenance- but now it’s ready to dazzle the opposition once again with delicious food and excellent service! We will re-open on Tuesday 15th April 2008 at 10:30am PST (Penguin Standard Time) at Kimi 07’s igloo on Belly Slide server! It’s THE place to be! Party Thanks

As is my custom, I would like to thank a few people who made my 5000 Hits Party the huge success it was:

Firstly, I would like to thank Nicereddy of the Club Penguin Trio for letting us use his igloo for part of the party! The decorations were fabulous- as you will have seen if you’ve watched my ‘Party Pics Slideshow’ (his igloo was the one in the last few pics) or if you went to my party.

Secondly, I’d like to thank Californya63 and Nicereddy (again) for staerting off our karaoke singing.

Thirdly, I’d like to thank Kimi 07, even though he came late, for providing some of the entertainment as Kimi the Klown.

Penultimately (second-last-ly), I’d like to thank interiordes3, oldgreggmate, Californya63 (again) and Nicereddy (yet again) for staying with the party right through to the end.

Decorating Tips #8

Need help decorating your igloo? Well help has arrived! Read on for top-notch igloo decorating tips to make your igloo the talk of the town!

Tip 1
Use lighting, if you shine it on other furniture items, it’ll draw attention to that item. Only use it sparingly- too much lighting looks terrible!

Tip 2
Often a simple look in your igloo is very attractive- don’t go overboard with decorating and shove all your items in!

Tip 3
Use small stools like the log stump or the snow clump as tables to put small items on such as the cash register or the cake.

New Clothing Catalogue

A new clothing catalogue came out yesterday, and there are some fabulous new items! Here’s a picture of the front cover:

This month the new stuff is: a new admiral jacket, the White Admiral Jacket; a mermaid costume including a coral crown and a pearl necklace; the return of the scuba/diving gear and, in the ‘On the Job’ section, the long anticipated builder’s vest and hard hat.

I will be posting the secret items for this month’s clothing catalogue very soon.

Need help decorating your igloo? Well look no further! You’ve come to the right place for top-notch decorating tips! Read on for some more fabulous tips, with the 6th edition of this weekly column:

Tip 1

Try to play music in your igloo- it makes it more fun for visitors.

Tip 2

Upgrade your igloo for seasonal changes- unless you have a constant theme or run a business in your igloo.

Tip 3

Change your flooring every now and again- you might find one you really like.

Rockhopper Has Arrived

Rockhopper and Yarr have rowed to shore from the wreckage of the Migrator in their rowing boat- bringing with them a nice surprise! Despite the minor setback of having no ship, Rockhopper has still managed to bring us a fabulous new free item- the Life Vest. It is hidden on the beach in his rowing boat. It is a neck item, even though it is called a vest and they normally go on your body! Here is a picture of it:

I assume that means Rockhopper is now roaming the island again, but I haven’t yet seen him.

Need help decorating your igloo? Well look no further! This weekly post will give you top notch ideas and tips for decorating your igloo! Read on if you want the best igloo decorating tips on the worldwide web!

Tip 1

When throwing a non-themed party, try to use colourful things such as the Ferris Wheel Couch or the balloons, and try to use the dance floor from the upgrade catalogue.

Tip 2

Buy items from the catalogues in bulk, because they might be useful for themed parties (eg. if you buy Christmas Trees in bulk, you can have a Forest Party).

Tip 3

Experiment with what diferent items can do if you press the arrow keys- you might be surprised by what some things can do!
